In West Hamilton, I was born but not raised, Out in Plano and Reading is where I spent most of my days. Okay, I can't explain my whole story through the Fresh Prince soundtrack, so let me elaborate: I was born in Hamilton Ontario on March 14th, 1994, to the most kind and giving individuals, Mike and Danette, and a wonderful older brother named Jarrett. They made me who I am today. My family and I spent about three and-a-half years here in Canada, until we moved to Plano, Texas. We spent almost four years there in three different homes. People make fun of Hamilton a lot. They say it's all factories, that it's ugly, that it's a little "sketchy." Well, I am here to prove that those ideas are dead wrong . Hamilton is a beautiful , vibrant city with heaps and heaps to offer. Let me start with the nature: 1. Waterfalls - Hamilton is actually considered the waterfall capital of the world, with over 100 waterfalls and cascades, all here in our city! You can't consider that ugly. 2. Princess Point - An absolutely beautiful area in the west end of Hamilton. There are trails around the waterfront, and I've seen all sorts of animals there including deer, fish, geese, ducks, and fox. It's also a fantastic place to go for a picnic or watch the sunset. 3. The Bruce Trail - Canada's oldest and longest footpath goes through Hamilton. It's a great hike, and you can catch a glimpse of some of the waterfalls mentioned above as well!
